Day 2 – Camp Site Setup

Crotched Mountain

*Please allow me to take a moment to apologize to everyone for the lack of updates. As you will soon read, we have experienced a few minor difficulties. Our campsite’s WiFi was not working and my laptop is being temperamental (I’m sure it’s nothing but a bad case of user error).

The day was spent relaxing from the journey and organizing all of our supplies. All day the weather was beautiful and everyone was looking forward to our first day at Cedar Point.

Dinner was excellent and a leisurely meal was truly appreciated by all the adventurers. It was while cleaning up after that we discovered the grey water tanks fill up very fast in an RV. So, Bill, Chris and Dan took it to the dump station. This was the first time any of them had tried to accomplish this task. Bill looked under the RV and saw the release switch. Just as he begins to pull the switch, Chris started to yell, and Bill thought twice about his actions. But, it was just a moment too late and Bill was hit with some of the sludge. He was less than pleased but very good natured as the guys relayed the story to the rest of the group. The lesson we all learned from that was, don’t ever go anywhere without a camera!

That would have been a wonderful picture to capture. I’m sure Bill wouldn’t think so.

Hope this is the only mishap…You sound like you are having fun.

I can just picture Chris and Dan telling you what happened. Looks like you are all having fun. Keep up the good work and tell Bill to stop hiding from the camera.

You should have watched the movie “RV” before you went. You could have picked up a few tips :)
